This is a great started served at the beginning of a lunch or dinner along fresh bread, butter, or olive oil and balsamic vinegar.
Start by sauteing fresh garlic, at medium temperature; when hot, add sliced mushrooms. Continue sauteing until mushrooms are dark, and completely dry. Mushrooms let out a lot of moisture and the liquid can almost boil them; to avoid this, drain the pan or use a paper towel to absorb the liquid. This occurs only once during the process; and is the secret to obtain dry and flavorful mushrooms.
add salt and pepper to taste and serve in small tapas-like dishes.
